Finance and Business Administration Manager and Employee Trustee

Ebba Mowatt

Ebba Mowatt is Voicentric’s Finance and Business Administration Manager and was elected to the position of Employee Trustee in July 2022, for a 3-year term.

Ebba has been at Voicentric since September 2017; moving from ICR to Senior Advisor, to HR & Finance Assistant, and then to her current managerial role.  Additionally, Ebba has been a Mental Health First Aider at Voicentric since November 2021.

Prior to Voicentric, Ebba spent 12 years working in retail.  In her last store, Ebba started as a Sunday manager when it opened and, within 3 months, was the Assistant Manager for Durham; a year later she was the Duty Manager for Newcastle and Aberdeen as well. Within this role, she covered not just sales and customer service but also; HR, H&S, Training & Development, Budgeting, and Marketing.

Chairperson

Mary Jordan

Mary Chairs the Trust and is a former equity holder, having set up Voicentric with the founders, Paul and Russ, in 2002. Mary is married to Paul, currently Voicentric Chairman, and was firmly supportive of the decision to move Voicentric to Employee Ownership (EO) in 2019.

Over her 40-year career as an Occupational Psychologist, Mary has worked with many kinds of organisations, specialising in the assessment and development of managers. Latterly, she ran People-Centric Associates – a successful conglomeration of Occupational Psychologists working throughout the UK on business psychology-related projects.

As a Trustee, Mary is keen to see Voicentric succeed financially as a business, continue to provide interesting, sustainable jobs, and balance the interests of the business with those of the employees. It is important to her that employees are treated fairly and well, by excellent managers who care about people as individuals and that Voicentric is a good place to work.

Additionally, Mary believes ‘ownership’ helps make Voicentric a special place to work, because it facilitates a sense of working for the good of the Voicentric community, working as part of a team, openly and synergistically to improve the success of the business as a whole, so that the collective share the benefits of that joint effort.

Mary is also a long-standing trustee with ‘Ways to Wellness’, a charity working to eliminate health inequalities across the North East and Cumbria.

Independent Trustee

Stephanie Wilson

Stephanie joined Voicentric as a Trustee in March 2022.

Stephanie has been involved in the outsourcing industry for over 30 years and has held a number of leadership roles within the industry; in Teleperformance, Concentrix, Firstsource, an Indian offshore company, and TSYS (a payment processing organisation), working with Financial Institutions.

Most recently, Stephanie worked for Teleperformance, where she was Chief Client Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa, with responsibility for developing and delivering client growth across the Region.

Stephanie is based near York and married to Steve.
